Job Description

Plumbing Engineer Responsibilities

• Plumbing design for waste & vent, hot & cold water, storm drain, condensate drain, natural gas and medical gas system. Drafting in AutoCAD and/or Revit. LEED, CHPS & Commissioning BOD requirements
• Coordinating with other design team members. Contacting local water/gas companies.
• Responding to DSA, OSHPD and local building department plan check comments.
  
  

Plumbing Engineer Qualifications

• Proficient with Autodesk Design Suite (Revit, AutoCAD required. NavisWorks is a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have or be nearly complete with an Associate Technical Degree in CAD from a recognized institution.
• Have or be working towards a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University is a plus.
• Understanding of basic plumbing systems is a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam PDF software is a plus.
• Experience with plumbing calculation.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
