What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paramedic/EMT position at Trinity Health MI?
Administers basic and advanced life support care, as well as other medical treatment or assessments to patients in pre-hospital settings. Operates within the scope of practice covered by his/her licensure level under the direction of a Physician and consistent with state and local standard operating protocols. A paramedic responds to 911 emergencies and performs continuation of care and observation during inter-facility patient transfers per the direction of the responsible physician.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current Paramedic license from the State of Michigan.
Current certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BTLS (Basic Trauma Life Support), and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license, with continued safe driving history.
