St. Mary's Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Cafeteria Aide to join our team food and nutrition team. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors.
This person is responsible a variety of cafeteria food preparation and service duties including hot food steam table, grill, and sandwich service and cashiering. Performs a variety of food service area setup and closing procedures including sanitation duties.

Full- Time, 32 hours
You Will Be Responsible For:
Exceptional Customer Service: Performs cashiering duties according to approved cashiering procedures, waiting on customers quickly and courteously
Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family member.
Technical Familiarity: Ability to perform a variety of food service duties including cashiering, sandwich making, grill work, salad bar prep, cleaning, restocking, etc.
Active Teamwork: Performs other special assignments
Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service operation
Experience in a cafeteria type food services operation preferred
Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
