Assist Nutrition Services staff in serving food to patients and guests. Will demonstrate an understanding of all patient populations served. Maintain a high level of sanitation in individual work areas and the department. Stock supplies and food items in work areas of the department and nursing pantries. Will display exceptional customer service skills. This position may function as a patient tray passer, Cold 2, salads, or café assistant. Will uphold the department standards and expectations at all times. Will uphold Service FIRST principles, keeping in mind patient safety and quality at all times.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Requirements
ServSafe desired, but will offer with employment
Educational Requirements
Able to read and write Able to follow oral and written directions 16 years of age or older
Experience Requirements
One year of hospital or previous food service experience is desired, but not required
Special Skills or Training Requirements Ability to recognize errors and make adjustments as needed Customer Service skills
