St. Mary's Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Host to join our team food and nutrition team. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors. This person is responsible the transport, delivery and retrieval of food trays to and from patients.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Exceptional Customer Service and Patient Care: treats patients/customer with dignity and respect, acknowledges patients/customers and responds quickly to customer needs.

Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family member.

Technical Familiarity: Ability to transport meals to and from patient care floors throughout the workday

Active Teamwork: Performs other special assignments

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service operation

Ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely manner

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
