Description:
Reporting to the Director Quality & Accreditation*, Quality Resource, this position provides management and expertise in the areas of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, as it relates to colleagues, medical staff, and inpatient and outpatient services for Saint Agnes Medical Center. In collaboration with the Director, local leadership and Trinity system office Quality & Accreditation, this role leads and coordinates the planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical process related to quality, safety and regulatory compliance. The incumbent will leverage clinical information technology, process design, change management and evidence-based leading practices to support optimal quality outcomes, improve data-driven performance and promote ongoing survey readiness and compliance with accreditation regulations and standards. This position also supports specific initiatives related to external certification or recognition as reflected in the organization's strategic quality and safety priorities.1. Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field is required. Master's degree is preferred.
2. Five (5) years of clinical or educational experience in one (1) or more areas of Healthcare Quality is required. Experience in decision-making, leadership and in-depth knowledge of strategy development and deployment of quality management tools, safety, management, and training and development in regulatory preparations and oversight is preferred.
3. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Medical Doctor in the State of California is required.
4. Certification as Professional in Healthcare Quality and Accreditation is preferred.
5. Demonstrated success in leading organizations through accreditation reviews is required.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to present information in a confident, clear, concise, and articulate manner is required.
7. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint, and various other computer software products is required.
Pay Range ($53.14 - $79.72)
