Position created to provide coverage for Optometrist at the MCD location.Clinic hours for Optometrist will be Monday-Wednesday 8:00pm-4:30pm.
The candidate for this position will be a (PRN) backup for the current Optometrist. The PRN will be contacted when needed for coverage.
This position located is Downtown Atlanta
This position is not benefit eligible
Under the Direction of the Medical Director, the Optometrist performs ocular examinations on patients of all ages for the purpose of the detection of diseases of the eye and refractive needs. The ideal candidate will be a graduate from an accredited College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree and current Georgia State Board of Optometry license and certification. Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage. Familiarity and experience in treating medically underserved, immigrant populations, patients of diverse backgrounds, and those with experience in treating the homeless is preferred.
