Job Posting for EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST at Trinity Hospitals
Position Summary:
We are looking for candidates with exceptional interpersonal skills for the position of employee relations specialist. Employee relations specialists are responsible for solving complex employee relations issues, capturing trends and themes on work environment opportunities and prioritizes process improvements that drive sustainable employee engagement.
Moreover, employee relations specialists will need to have extensive knowledge of employment law and adhere to company and industry regulations at all times.
Work schedule can be remote or hybrid.
Salary Range: 56k-70k
Key Responsibilities:
Sets and maintains a foundation of positive employee relations practices and programs to be recognized as an employer of choice and a great place to work.
Maintains compensation program and completes compensation surveys.
Conducts exit interviews and is responsible for filing unemployment claims.
Assists Director with employee relations issues, as directed.
Responsible for reporting requirements in HR.
Updates and adds new job descriptions.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Licenses and Certifications Required
None
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education / experience in Human Resources, Business or related field is preferred.
SHRM certification is highly preferable.
Experience Requirements
Requires minimum of 2 years prior HR experience
Prefers strong knowledge of employment law.
Previous employee relations experience or management experience a plus.
Solid experience with Excel is required, preferable knowledgeable on formulas.
