Trinity Industries is searching for a talented team player to fill the role of Financial Analyst in our Financial Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions group located in our Dallas, Texas office.
As a key member of a Financial Strategy Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the direction, coordination, implementation and completion of assigned projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. What You’ll Do:
· Provide analysis and support for company strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions and divestiture opportunities
· Assemble and maintain potential acquisition target lists and assist with sourcing new investment opportunities directly with senior management
· Prepare and evaluate transaction models, including determining value, EPS dilution/accretion and analyzing the financial trends and progressions
· Manage/ support deal process and due diligence coordination of various corporate departments
· Support contract negotiations, post-close activities, and internal integration processes
· Review legal documentation, including bid letters, purchase agreements and related documents
· Assist with the preparation of presentations for internal management and the Board of Directors
· Lead/support ad hoc projects as assigned
· Analyze large amounts of data to identify trends, variances, and make recommendations
· Develop and summarize research material
What You’ll Need:
· Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
· 0 – 2 years in a Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Financial Analysis role
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
· Experience with the suite of Microsoft Office products
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex data set
· Salesforce and Capital IQ or Bloomberg experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
