Part-time Custodian
To serve TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH as custodian, to keep the building, its contents and grounds attractive, and to be as helpful as possible to individuals and groups using the facilities.
This position is part-time. Work hours are authorized by the Property and Grounds Supervisor and will be around 2-3 hours/day.
DUTIES are to include, but not limited to:
1. Maintain the health, safety and comfort of the church.
2. Inspect and clean rest rooms daily, (8 total) cleaning fixtures, mirrors, dispensers, door handles, and light switches, empty wastebaskets and restock paper product, as necessary. Sweep and wet mop floors.
3. Vacuum carpets, dust all wood work and furniture, wash windows, sweep and wet mop tile flooring, wash walls.
4. Wash tables and chairs, as needed
5. Inspect and clean kitchen area, wiping counters, refrigerator, freezer, ovens, microwave, dishwasher, walls and doors, as needed. Empty trash, sweep and mop floor.
6. Inspect and clean sanctuary, alter, sacristy, Koinonia room, connection room, library, nursery, chapel, multipurpose room, youth room, old sacristy and all hallway/entry steps.
7. Inspect and clean lower level of church to include Sunday school rooms, fellowship hall, red floor, Lower Level rooms and Commons, Sunday school supply room, hallways, empty trash, and sweep, vacuum and mop floors.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
