Overview (Scope of Role)
The Global HRIS Manager will manage the successful optimization of the Workday HRIS system, including collaboration with key stakeholders to identify module improvements and enhance performance, including Talent Management and Compensation. This position will provide intentional leadership and mentorship to a team of HR Technology professionals, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives around the world.
This hybrid-flexible role will be located in Wayne, PA and report directly to the Director, Global HR Technology Operations and Payroll.
Activities
- Lead the management and optimization of the Workday HCM system, including configuration, testing, and integration with other systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify system requirements, evaluate, identify and recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure the process meets the needs of the organization
- Develop and maintain systems documentation, including business processes, procedures and training materials
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of HR technology professionals and regional super users, including setting goals, providing feedback and ensuring high quality work
- Lead technology-enablement and transformation leadership to help teams assess, build, transform and operationalize new capabilities
- Build data architecture framework and playbook for HR and People Leaders
- Ability to project management the implementation of new functionality, and/or by planning for mergers and acquisitions by partnering with key stakeholders, building and executing implementation plans
- Participate in security assessment activities for HR systems by partnering with vendors and Information Security
- Conduct root cause analysis of problems and apply business knowledge and practical experience to recommend system and product enhancements
- Participate in the architecture and integration of HR tools including design, testing, implementation, hypercare
- Ensure all assignments meet company key control guidelines, and support compliance reviews and audits
- Perform analysis of data to meet the needs of customers (HR Business Partners, Business or Functional Leaders, HR Executive team, external parties) to aid in decision-making
- Develop, manage, and maintain positive relationships with vendors and consultants to address support and project activities
- Identify and overcome risks, blockers, and technology limitations to meet stakeholder expectations
- Proven experience in eliciting and elaborating business requirements, drafting system design specifications, and developing technical solutions, and documenting processes
- Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues
- Lead the HRIS Global Team in future focused technology solutions including developing the team
- Develop and maintain a network of outside contacts and best practice community knowledge
- Ensure full legal & GDPR compliance framework for Global HR technology
- Compile reports make recommendations on continuous improvement efforts, and track effectiveness of current HRIT solution
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities and efficiencies
Required Educations, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources or equivalent
- 5 or more years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Significant experience with externally hosted HR solution management such as Workday HCM, iCIMS, ServiceNow, Cornerstone strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of web services, APIs, XML
- Preferably has knowledge of market leading Human Resources HCM systems and capabilities including Workday
- Highly collaborative, and enthusiastic tending to see opportunities instead of problems
- Detail oriented and always looking to learn. This leader cannot imagine not continuing to learn and grow and is energized by innovation and is solutions focused
- Demonstrate ability to rise to business challenges, thinking on their feet and resolving problems/removing roadblocks
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient English speaker. Additional language skills are beneficial

Salary : $101,000 - $128,000
