Overview of the Role
Trinseo is seeking a **Bulk Polymerization Production Operator** to be responsible for the production of acrylic resin via compounding, bulk polymerization, and extrusion processes. This role will require combining both liquid and solid materials to create high-quality acrylic resin.
This position is located in Bristol, PA and will report to the Operations Leader.
Responsibilities:
•Adhere to safety protocols during production, testing, packaging, and formulation of various types of acrylic resin.
•Monitor and control process conditions through distributed control systems (DCS).
•Perform manual tasks to maintain production lines.
•Maintain accurate records of raw material usage and finished goods production.
•Communicate relevant process information to co-workers and supervisors.
•Operate a forklift.
•Keep work areas clean and organized.
•Contribute to the Behavior Based Safety process by conducting observations.
•Support the Loss Control policy, ISO 9001, and OSHAS 18001 management systems.
•Climb ladders, work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear PPE including SCBA respirator.
•Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night shift).
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED.
•At least two years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
•Basic knowledge of MS Office.
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
