What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at TripActions?
TripActions is looking for an experienced business analytics professional that has strong experience working for technology companies and in high-growth environments. As a key member of the Revenue Analytics team, the successful candidate will be responsible for amplifying the data-driven culture within the go to market organization. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Analytics, this individual will be working closely with our Sales and Success leadership team, as well as Finance, Marketing and Data teams on ad-hoc and ongoing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in scoping, developing and delivering sales and success metrics and analytics that will help move the business forward. You must have a bias towards action, eagerness to take ownership, and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You will have a proven track record of supporting the hyper growth of customer facing teams.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop and maintain the health telemetry and reporting stack for the Sales and Success organization - from leadership dashboards to managers' reports, as well as individual rep health scorecards
- Identify insights and trends from data and surface to Sales and Success Leaders
- Own cross-functional analytic projects with functional heads, based on insights, trends and leadership direction to support our growth pillars, as well as improving overall team efficiency and effectiveness
- Drive regular Sales and Success Business Review cadence - develop and report on key qualitative and quantitative success metrics, and partner closely with Sales and Success Leaders to ensure timely and impactful reviews
- Collaborate with data engineering and Revenue Operations team to build and grow our analytics infrastructure, and to ensure quality, accessibility and timeliness of data
What We're Looking For:
- 3 years of data analysis experience - Sales Operations, Success Operations, Business Operations, Finance Analysts, Management Consulting
- Demonstrated experience in working with senior executives (C-level, SVP), as well as cross functional leaders (Sales, Success, Finance, Marketing, Data)
- Hands on experience in developing Dashboard through BI / visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker
- Expertise in data access - Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Redshift), field tools (Salesforce, Outreach) as well as Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in taking on a role where you will be in the driver's seat as we build and shape the business and rolling up your sleeves to execute
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related technical field
