Viator is looking to hire a Senior Technical Manager to join our fast-growing Marketing and Ad Technology team. As leader of the Martech Team you will be working in a fast paced environment - collaborating closely with Product and Marketing teams - and help define the future tech stack and roadmap for Digital Marketing.

What you will do
- Lead the Marketing and Ad Tech team for Viator working closely with the Product and Marketing organizations guiding your team to successful deliveries
- Manage a team of 10-12 members eventually as the team continues to grow alongside the evolution of the technology stack
- Help define the Technology roadmap and provide Thought leadership in this space. Support in evaluation of new products/tools in the stack
- Define Integration patterns for Customer Data Platform, CRM, SEM and programmatic buying use cases
- Help grow the team by attracting best in class talent across both Batch and Real time ingestion
- Coach and grow the Engineering managers/Principal Engineers you manage, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers
- Take responsibility for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA and maintenance
- Work alongside other engineering teams and leaders located around the world in a cross functional structure
What you will need
- At least Ten years of experience with at least 4 of them leading teams in Marketing/Ad Tech space
- Experience of directly line managing principal engineers and other technical managers and ability to mentor them
- Strong technical skills and understanding of system architecture across both data and real time systems
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex ideas in simple language to senior management
- History of working with CDP, SEM, Adservers etc technologies
- Good understanding of how the end to end Marketing/Ad stack works
- High quality verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions
- Sense of ownership, urgency and pride in your work
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
