Tax Accountant

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing financial advice to clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, tax preparation, and financial analysis. Responsibilities: - Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations - Conduct thorough reviews of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws - Provide guidance and advice to clients regarding tax planning strategies - Perform general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation - Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records - Assist with regulatory reporting requirements - Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for tax preparation - Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations - Conduct research on complex tax issues as needed Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - CPA certification preferred - Proven experience in tax preparation and compliance - Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations - Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail - Solid understanding of debits, credits, and financial accounting principles - Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus At our company, we offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. Pay: $69,878.00 - $75,652.00 per year
