What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Captain position at Triple Shift Entertainment LLC?
Description
Set up banquets to customer satisfaction as well as serve food and supervise the staff.
- Provide friendly, courteous, polite, and helpful customer service and demonstrate courteous, professional service around a banquet table
- Set up of the room per customer agreement- vacuum, clean windows, spot clean walls, set up tables, chairs, linens, podium, table settings, decorations
- Serves food and drinks to customers in accordance with Triple Shift Entertainment Standards
- Remains available to the guests throughout events to ensure guest service is maintained
- Keeps tables free from debris and promptly remove dishes, utensils and glassware as the customer is finished
- Returns empty glassware to bar/discards trash into receptacles
- Takes drink and food orders (as needed), collects money and returns change to customers (if applicable)
- Ensures Alcoholic Beverage Commission regulations are followed
- Lift and carries heavy trays of food and beverages
- Prepares and sets up workstation
- Informs management of customer complaints
- Replenishes ice bins
- Monitors buffet food consumption and coordinate replenishment in a timely/efficient manner
- Communicates orders to the bartender
- Rings up transactions from events as required using provided tools
- Provides feedback on events to the Events Manager to maximize event revenue and efficiency
- Maintains a safe work environment
- Provides a safe environment for customers

Requirements
- Prior waiter/waitress experience preferred
- Banquet Server experience highly preferred
- Be friendly, polite, and professional
