What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Design Engineer position at TriSearch?
Are you a degreed EE with a focus in Power Systems?
Have you worked across HV, MV and LV power distribution systems?
Our client is a worldwide leading engineering and manufacturer of capital equipment for the steel making industry, known for their strengths in mechanical engineering, electronics, automation, manufacturing, project management and service.
In this job you'll support customers, work with BOM for power system equipment, work on single and three-line drawings and relay panels, work on switchgears and transformers, while also getting to work on installations and commissionings.
Your skills and experience:
- Knowledge in power system concepts and fundamentals
- Exposure to: EMTP analysis, EIT Certification, IEC61850 based substation automation, NEC and ANSI standards, SCADA, power system analysis, protection design and protective relay testing and commissioning, substation design and automation.
- 1-3 year's experience (note; a Masters in EE with a focus on Power Systems in lieu of the years of work experience)
- A FE or EIT in Power Systems would be a plus.
