TRISTAR is seeking a Budget Analyst for our government customer in Crane, IN/Hybrid

Position Description:

• This position will provide financial support to our customers in monitoring and reporting the execution of funds in support of various programs

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for fathering, compiling and analyzing financial data to develop reports and respond to data calls both internal and external to our customer
• Working and communicating with the customer on a routine basis discussing funding issues and tasking requirements
• Support shall include advising managers regarding financial implications of changes in policies, workload changes, and other elements by using guidance such as DoD, NAVCOMPT, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, OPNAV, SPECC, NOC, JLSC policies, regulations and directives
• Support will be expected to use initiative and originality in interpreting existing guidelines and interpreting and applying the intent of the provisions in the guidelines to situations which are not specifically covered

Position Requirements:

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Skills is a must
• Advanced Microsoft Office/Excel skills
• Basic understanding and familiarity with DoD Spend Plans, NWAs, DTS, ODC breakouts, ZFD PR requests and SOW forms for outgoing funding documents.
• Reliable attendance and need for discretion are required
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certification:

• Associates preferred or 5 years direct experience in Business and Financial Operations Occupation Field
