TRISTAR is seeking a Software Tester for our upcoming Federal Government Contract located in Bloomington IN
Position Description:
- TRISTAR is seeking transitioning/retiring Marines with Air Combat Element Command and Control (C2) systems experience
- Prefer Marines that have experience with the Common Aviation Command and Control System or it's subsystems to include the Communication System MRQ-13
- We are also interested in Marines with experience with Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) and the Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS)
- Willing to consider transitioning/retiring marines that were in the Military Occupational Series 5900s, 7200s, and 1700s
Position Responsibilities:
- Participate in software integration events in Laboratory Environment with Tactical Representative system (CAC2S, TBMCS, MRQ-13, and MADIS)
- Participate in software testing events and provide Subject Matter Expertise relevant to the software testing event
- Available to participate in fielding events or test events of new software during field exercises or events
- Provide USMC Command and Control (C2) Subject Matter Expertise in testing and integration of the tactical software
Position Requirement:
- Transitioning/retiring marine with appropriate MOS training and schooling
- Knowledge of COMSEC concepts and procedures a plus
- Perform Integration testing, regression testing, automation testing.
- Advise on effective installation, operation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems
- Provide expertise in planning, and installation of C2 capabilities in aviation command and control systems
- Must be a US Citizen
- An active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
Education and Certification:
- Marine Corps training schooling in Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) 5900, 7200 and 1700 series
- Industry certification required for IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570 (for example CompTIA Security ) - willing to obtain prior to start date
