External Sales Representative Job Overview:

Are you in the market to develop new business relationships? We would love for you to join our team as a Outside Sales Representative. In this position, you would have the opportunity to build your own sales territory and new business relationships to drive business growth. You will be an ambassador of our company building upon our strong brand in the marketplace, becoming a trusted face to our partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify our company's, values, brand, and culture both internally and externally to build new relationships and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
  • Report to management on sales metrics, competitor information, market and industry conditions, and partner feedback.
  • Continually grow new and existing partnerships to meet corporate sales growth goals.
  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing partners communicating regularly, providing solutions as needed, and overseeing all account activity.
  • Utilize latest technologies to engage current and new partnerships in today's world of new normal.
  • Travel within a 2-hour radius to conduct face-to-face meetings as needed.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, partner accounts, and sales.
  • Collaboration with the marketing to expand brand presence through the creation of new marketing materials.
  • Collaboration with all internal departments on new project and partnership launches as well as to resolve issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a sales representative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and rapport
  • Great persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proficient in technology and dealing with equipment and software
  • Able to travel as frequently as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in business, engineering, communication, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in metal fabrication or other related manufacturing industry
