Triumph Head Start and Early Head Start Programs in Taunton is seeking passionate Teachers to join our team and make a difference in our community. Job Description:
Preschool (Head Start) Teacher Responsible for facilitating and guiding activities for a preschool classroom, including curriculum implementation, daily classroom activities, and selecting and arranging equipment and materials in the classroom including maintaining a safe, neat, organized learning environment that is welcoming, nurturing, and high functioning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities for children
- Communicating with families about their children's development and progress
- Guide and facilitate activities of the children, including curriculum implementation, daily activities, field trips, selecting and arranging equipment and materials in the classroom.
- Complete and submit required forms and records in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Participate in pre-service training, in-service training, and other mandatory training requirements to meet EEC and Head Start requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Massachusetts EEC Teacher Preschool certified. (Agency offers certification if not obtained independently)
- Knowledge and experience of developmentally appropriate practices with 1-2 years’ minimum experience working with preschool children.
- Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary range starts at $19.10-$26.25 dependent on education and experience

Monday- Friday; 40 hours per week; 46 weeks per year
