The Client Controller will have a passion to serve LuHi and the Finance Team by providing financial leadership over the operational accounting and financial reporting functions for designated clients. This position will lead a team of individuals performing the transactional aspects of accounting including accounts payable, payroll, expense reimbursement, credit cards, billing, collections, account reconciliation, banking/cash management, financial close, financial reporting, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to operational Finance function and client organization(s) assigned
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
Perform accounting transaction tasks including billing, processing of receivables, processing of accounts payable, donations, journal entries, etc.
Perform month end close with appropriate preparation and review of account activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
Complete monthly variance analysis comparing budget to actuals with explanations and recommendations for enhanced
Conduct quarterly financial touch base sessions with key leadership stakeholders who have budgetary responsibility
Perform near-term cashflow forecast and manage cash balances to support the working capital needs of the organization
Handle sensitive communications with customers and vendors via phone, email, and in-person
Perform systems / process evaluation, recommend and implement enhancements where appropriate to continually improve departmental efficiency and internal control
Prepare financial reports as requested
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal agencies impacting the organization
Assist CFO with budget preparation, board reporting, and forecasting as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s Preferred)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least five (5) years accounting management experience with service in public accounting
Able to work independently in a collaborative environment
Strong process and systems skills including Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer service mentality with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
Attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time (24 hours per week)
Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
