Job Summary:
The Talent Manager is responsible developing and administering talent strategies that align with organizational needs across all departments in addition to overseeing the recruitment and hiring of all employees within the North American region.
Job Duties:
- Functional key contributor in the design and execution of the divisional sourcing strategy to identify and attract both passive and active candidates through existing and new resources.
- Remains current on industry conditions, talent acquisition trends and market intelligence.
- Maintains networking and pipelining activities, deploying creative search techniques to source qualified candidates.
- Participates in recruiting events such as local/national career fairs, special events or functions.
- Facilitates full cycle recruiting process.
- Collaborates with other local HR leaders to assess needs, develop sourcing strategy, and implement sourcing plans to meet the needs of various practice areas.
- Serves as a liaison between Group international HR/Recruiting/Comp and the NA region to oversee and manage global training initiatives and programs.
- Keeps training calendar and coordinates trainings for all NA locations to ensure compliance.
- Leads and makes recommendations on training needs within NA i.e. interview training, manager training etc.
- Creates targeted sourcing strategies for niche and commodity skills.
- Identifies strategic sourcing options to attract and engage candidates to meet current and future demand.
- Influences change and drives change management for new solutions/ new ways of approaching sourcing and technology within the recruitment process.
- Empowers team to focus on the candidate's experience and develops new methodologies and innovative sourcing approaches by providing guidance, tools and resources.
- Consults with hiring managers to determine detailed, job specific preferred qualifications.
- Monitors and tracks application status and metrics and reports out on weekly recruitments changes.
- Stays current with hiring compliance regulations.
- Supports Succession Planning process, Annual Performance Review process, performance management systems and reporting.
- Manages social media platforms and publishing of content for North American job requisitions.
- Oversees and facilitates internship programs with support from functional managers.
- Leads diversity and inclusion efforts, including compliance tracking, as part of the overall recruitment and retention strategy.
- Assists with and promotes employer branding as a means for attracting right-fit candidates.
- Becomes involved with community events .
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in recruiting roles with end to end, high volume experiences a must.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business related focus preferred.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing organizations preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Flexible; team player; self-starter; self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems - Preferably ADP and/or SAP SuccessFactors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Work Environment:
This position will primarily work in an office environment where sitting for prolong periods of time and using a computer, telephone and other office electronics are critical. The position will also need to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
