Key Responsibilities of the Nail Technician:
- Greet visitors to the salon in a prompt, courteous manner.
- Provides Salon patrons with all nail services including, but not limited to: manicures, pedicures, gel nails, in accordance with all licensing standards.
- Keeps nail stations fully equipped at all times with proper implements required to perform services.
- Informs Department Manager of all needed nail supplies for inventory.
- Contributes articles on salon products related to nail services’ up-and-coming ideas and technology to salon manager.
- Maintains knowledge of state-of-the art nail technician services, procedures, equipment and supplies.
- Maintains professional service-oriented demeanor.
- Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Attends staff meetings.
Minimum Qualifications for the Nail Technician:
- Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility; and three to six months related experience and/or training.
- Current State Nail Technician license and other creditable certificates. CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Current Florida Driver's license.
- Carries own Liability Insurance.
