What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Golf Operations Associate position at Troon?
Located approximately 50 miles outside of the Las Vegas Strip, Coyote Springs Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Experience. The Outside Operations Associate provide critical service to our members and guests. Usually, they are the first Club representative to meet and greet members and guests when they arrive at the Club.
Responsibilities
- Assist players, and Coyote Club Members with their golfing needs, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs as smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible
- Greet and welcome all players and Coyote Club Members
- At opening assist in pulling all golf carts from the golf cart facility to the bag staging area
- Remove golf bags from players car and load them on a golf cart.
- Give all members and guests miscellaneous information that may help them in playing the course. (e.g., yardage markers on sprinkler heads are measured to the middle of the green.)
- Provide members and guests with thoroughly cleaned and good operating carts that are stocked with water, scorecards, pencils, and divot repair material. Drive dirtied golf carts to the staging area; wash car, wipe down car, stock golf cart with water, pencil, score card, and divot repair material
- At closing, ensure clean golf carts are turned off to avoid draining the battery
- Ensure that the Golf Cart Facility is always clean and orderly
- Perform periodic cart inspections and report any issues to the maintenance team. Update cart service records
- Assist members and guests as they depart from the facility, ensuring that all golf clubs are cleaned, and that a staff member carries and places golf clubs in member's or guest’s vehicle
- Work closely with the Golf Shop staff to ensure that all club rules including dress code and beverage policy are followed by players
- Special projects or other duties as assigned
