Server
Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
- Process customer payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for accurately calculating bills and making change
- Ability to work well in a team environment and help colleagues when needed
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices for handling food safely
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Upselling abilities to increase sales and revenue
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus
