Reports to: Adult Education Supervisor
Salary: $25.13-$32.78 dependent on experience and education levels (TSD Non Rep Employee)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Development Associate ESL Support Teacher to join our team. As a Child
Development Associate ESL Support Teacher, you will work closely with adult students who are English as a Second Language (ESL)
learners, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to facilitate their language development and overall academic
progress in their goal to achieve their Child Development Associate Certificate. Your role will involve working collaboratively with
the certified CDA instructor and communicating via email with lead preschool teachers, responsible for supervising CDA candidates
Qualifications:
- Preferred Education: A valid Michigan teacher certificate and/or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an
associate degree in early childhood education, ESL education, or a related field.
- Preferred ESL Teaching Experience: Demonstrated experience working with ESL students, preferably in an educational
setting. Familiarity with ESL teaching methodologies and language acquisition principles.
- Organization and Flexibility: Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands in a
dynamic educational environment.
- Proficiency in Technology: Basic computer skills and familiarity with Google Classroom and online learning.
Responsibilities:
- ESL Instruction: Deliver targeted English language instruction to ESL students, focusing on vocabulary development,
- Individualized Support: Provide individualized support and assistance to ESL students, considering their specific needs,
- Curriculum Adaptation: Collaborate with CDA instructor to adapt curriculum materials and lesson plans to meet the
