Position Summary: The Janitor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of the manufacturing facility.

Duties / Responsibilities:

· Sweep or vacuum and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors, multiple times a day

· Cleaning of break room tables and team member areas throughout the workday

· Dust work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces

· Clean restrooms 2 times daily, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and walls

· Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap

· Clean entrance glass and other interior glass

· Work effectively with other team members

· Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, time & attendance

· Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners

· Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liner

· Clean designated smoking area daily

· Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience

· Must have the ability to work both independently and within a team

· Must have a passion for quality and be naturally attentive to details

· Must be reliable and able to work at an efficient pace

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to lift and / or carry up to 35 lbs.

· Must be able to effectively verbally communicate and exchange information with others.

· Work will be completed in parts of the facility that are not temperature controlled.

· Work is primarily completed by standing or walking and may require bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
