What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Analyst position at Tru Vue, Inc.?
Purpose and Scope:
The Sales Analyst leads the budgeting and forecasting process for revenue for Tru Vue. This person works closely with the Sales and Finance VPs as well as the President of the segment to establish revenue projections. As a result, this analyst receives good visibility from senior management. The analyst reports on business trends periodically as well as performs ad hoc analysis when needed.

- Lead the sales budgeting and forecasting process as mentioned above.
- Track revenues vs. budget and forecast and analyze fluctuations.
- Prepare, review, and distribute monthly sales report and analysis package.
- Perform analysis on products and customers, make recommendations for improvements.
- Streamline existing processes to enable more time for value added analysis.
- Establish dashboard for all reports that are easily accessible.
- Build Excel models for analytical purposes
- Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.

Education and Experience: (minimum requirements)
- B.S. degree or equivalent required, concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Market Research, Statistics, or Mathematics
- 1-3 years of experience with reporting and financial analysis
- Strong analytical ability with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office emphasis on Excel
- Skill with forecasting revenue and expenses (trend analysis)
- Ability to translate complex verbal requests for information into meaningful data analysis
- Ability to condense large data sets into succinct summary report
- SAP experience preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge of programming language a plus
- Strong project coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work and lead in a cross-functional team environment
