Warehouse Associate
Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Warehouse Associate is responsible for transactions relating to processing and receiving parts to and from customers with appropriate paperwork. The Warehouse associate will perform basic warehouse work for a routine nature such as placing received parts on shelves, removing sold parts from stock, processing items for shipment, etc.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Generate pick-tickets for orders to warehouse
- Stage loading of trucks; load and/or unload trucks
- Provide parts to the customer while maintaining appropriate paper-work bearing customer's signature
- Pickup parts to be returned to the store with appropriate paperwork bearing signatures as required from customer
- Inquire as to customer needs as related to additional sales, services, etc.
- Utilize marketing materials (i.e. tabloids, etc.)
- Collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipt
- Record sales and deliveries information on daily sales or delivery records
- Maintain routine maintenance on truck and keep truck clean inside and out
- Unpack received parts and place parts on proper shelves in proper place
- Pick parts from pick-ticket and deliver to staging area
- Stock and organize shelves and cores
- Pack parts for shipping
- Perform other assigned tasks/responsibilities, as needed
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Heavy duty truck or automotive parts knowledge/experience
- Excellent communication (oral & written)
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to operate power industrial equipment (e.g. fork lifts, etc.)
