JOB SUMMARY Oversee entire IT department, including infrastructure and applications. Work closely with senior leadership, users, and the technology team to help determine the best way possible to meet the technology needs of the company ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Manage all parts of the IT Dept 2. Develop metrics for hardware, software, and storage 3.
Determine business requirements for IT systems 4. Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data security 5. Identify and recommend new technology solutions 6. Manage and oversee all stages of the development lifecycle for new projects 7.
Work to deliver products on time and on budget 8. Help to prioritize short and long-term objectives 9. Maintain existing programs, seeing that necessary updates are made 10. Oversee maintenance of hardware 11.
Stay up to date on security risks and ensure corporate security 12. Report progress and challenges to senior management 13. Work to meet the overall corporate goals 14. See that all reported issues are resolved quickly and efficiently EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • BA – Computer Science/Programming • Eight (8) years of experience in the technology field • Two (2) years of Leadership experience or Management in an IT setting KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Computer Science • Programming • Hands on experience in relevant coding languages • Ability to troubleshoot proactively PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.
Ability to stand, walk, or view a computer screen for extended periods of time 2. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods of time 3. Ability to travel by private or public transportation as needed 4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed RELATIONSHIP REPORTING 1.
