The True Sales Apprentice role is designed as a feeder role into a True Associate/True Advisor role. The True Sales Apprentice program is a 6-18 month Industry, Sales, and Internal Operations training program.
The True Apprentice will earn a Real estate License during their tenure and will attend Core Sales Training, cross departmental key person interviews (KPIs) as well as any additional formal sales training and shadowing. The Sales Apprentice may engage walk-in traffic in the sales center and set an appointment with the True Advisor. The True Apprentice plays an important role in helping maintain a positive community and model appearance and to ensure the communities are retail ready at all times. The Sales Apprentice is also responsible for all social media postings for the Division, all Zillow and Trulia listings and entering Competitive Data into Trinity to display on the Storefront Plasmas.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates buy-in and alignment with the True culture
- Attends weekly check in and syllabus overview meeting with Sales Trainer and MP of Sales
- Attends Core Sales training, Broker Impact Training, Contract training
- Shadows True Advisors executing Broker Impact Meetings and helps prepare materials for Office Presentations
- Observes IST Phone calls
- Visits communities and shop competitors and relays key information to on-site sales team
- Observes the sales process with clients and prospects
- Ensures traffic card and follow-up notes are filled out on each guest registration
- Coordinates follow-up appointments with a True Advisor and each guest that registers
- Inspects the communities, models, and signage to ensure a retail ready True environment
- Maintains a professional sales office and ensures that models are open and ready during business hours
- Completes Community, Model, and Spec Home inspection reports and submits weekly
- Engages all clients immediately upon entering the sales office
- Documents and files all client communication
- Demonstrates Five Star Customer Service
- Enters all Inventory listings into Trulia and Zillow for the Division
- Advertises homes and communities on all social media sites as directed by MP Sales
- Enters all competitor data into Trinity to show on Community Plasmas
- Performs other duties as needed or required
Results/Accountability:
- Completes core training and Pass Sales Certification
- Takes Real Estate Pre-licensing course and get NC and/or SC Real Estate Licenses
- Meets Community/Model Franchise Management standards at all times
- Meets Showcase homes Franchise Management standards at all times
- Demonstrates an ability to persuade clients and set appointments for True Advisors
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma, Military Experience or GED required
- Valid drivers license, current automobile insurance, and reliable personal transportation for travel required

- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Occasionally drive during the workday
- Work evenings and weekends as needed
- Comply with all company policies and procedures

- Demonstrate alignment with the sales culture including vision, mission, and core competencies
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 30% of the time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to move about the community including: model homes, sales center, showcase homes, available lots, office equipment, etc.
- Ability to traverse finished and unfinished homes, residential communities, and ungraded lots
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs
