Temporary Seasonal Farmers Markets Event Vendor Organic Tea Sales and Sampling

Job Overview:

Once again, spring time farmer's markets are just around the corner.

We are a family owned tea company located in Lorton, VA and we're looking for some awesome vendors to help with the local markets.

This is a part time, seasonal - temporary position.

Farmer's markets are located in Fairfax County, Washington, DC, Fredericksburg, VA and surrounding areas.

Reliable candidates located within 50 miles of Lorton, VA are needed.

Must be a morning person. Markets start early and require a morning set up.

Must have a valid drivers license.

Market Dates: March- November and run mostly weekends with some weekdays as well.

Job Duties: Pick up product and supplies from our Lorton, VA location the morning of your event.

Set up - This includes being able to lift and carry multiple boxes, tables, tents and other heavy to medium weight supplies.

Sampling product - Prepare tea carafes and keep sampling area clean and stocked.

Selling product- Must have a phone that's capable of running a square card reader for collecting credit card sales. You must have an unlimited data plan to avoid issues.

Break down : Breaking down tables, tent and supplies. Returning supplies and cash to Lorton drop off location.

Pay: $25.00 hourly - via weekly direct deposit.

We are looking for great people to help represent our family business. Strong communication skills, genuine kindness, attention to detail and a passion for sales are a must. We love our customers and we have a lot of loyalty out there. If our customers don't exist, neither do we.

Having a natural ability to calmly and confidently work with the public while moving fast is necessary.
