What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office clerk 1st shift position at True Value?
The Office Clerk will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties such as answering the telephone, typing documents, filing, and liaising with clients.
The duties should be completed in accordance with True Value standard procedures and in support of facility operating needs.
Scheduled Days : Monday through Friday Hours : 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm
Starting Pay : $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities : (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
1. Performs clerical duties including photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, handling phone calls, and distributing mail.
2. Applies knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilizes knowledge of the organization and various functions to respond to inquiries or direct work.
3. Maintain records, prepares forms and reports, verifies information, and resolves routine problems.
4. Provides customer service support.
Education & Experience :
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience, preferably in Communication, Customer Service, of Office environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
