What are the responsibilities and job description for the Circles Coach position at TrueNorth Community Services?
Under the direction of the Circles Coordinator, this position is responsible for working directly with Circle Leaders as they engage with the Circles program and other initiatives that promote self-sufficiency to work toward an improved quality of life.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet with and support Circle Leaders through ongoing Case Management
- Document, compile and enter case notes into agency CRM system
- Facilitate weekly program lessons
- Assist with the recruitment and screening of the Circle Leaders
- Assist with intake interviews and strength based assessments for all Circle Members
- Provide orientation for new Circle Leader families
- Maintain knowledge of social services and resources available throughout the community
- Manage relationships among resource team members and Circle Leaders
- Provide conflict resolution if necessary among Circles participants
- Assist with data management and reporting
- Attend weekly Circles meetings and facilitate/coordinate curriculum
- Assist with awareness and recruitment presentations
- Manage, enhance, and maintain Circles weekly curriculum for both Leaders and youth
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with TrueNorth Volunteer Services staff to achieve department goals and outcomes
- Promote program involvement by engaging in and enhancing various social media platforms
- Assist with compiling and analyzing statistical data and program successes
- Continuously evaluate program processes and outcomes and recommend approaches to improve program performance
- Collect and manage feedback from all parties involved in program through surveys, written reports, and verbal comments
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills in managing complex tasks with autonomy
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years experience in nonprofits or a related field
- Prior experience working with and managing volunteers
- Prior experience with case management
