Auto Body Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter with experience in painting vehicles, including cars, trucks, trailers, and buses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using HVLP equipment, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow instructions while working effectively with others. This is a Direct-hire position.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm, OT as needed

Compensation: $27 - $35/hr

Location: South Seattle, WA

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by performing necessary surface preparation, masking, and priming.
• Apply paint to vehicles using HVLP equipment, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finish.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired results.
• Inspect painted surfaces for flaws, and make touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  
  

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in auto body painting, with a focus on trucks, trailers, and/or buses preferred.
• Proficiency in using HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray guns and other painting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues.
