Job Details
Packer/palletizers accurately and efficiently pack product into appropriate boxes, operate labelers and print appliers, and perform spot checks on products to ensure product meets our quality standards. All of our production positions are responsible for performing cleaning and sanitization procedures on the production line and on various pieces of equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pack product into appropriate box.
- Safety and effectively operate labelers and print appliers.
- Safely remove product from the line and replace product onto the line when necessary.
- Safely run trash compactor and card board bailor.
- Adhere to the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the general food safety standards of BRC.
- Perform spot checks on products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
- Responsible for routine cleaning and general maintenance of the workspace as assigned.
- Notify supervisor of product discrepancies and/or equipment malfunctions.
- Clean and sanitize the production line when the production schedule warrants a line clean.
- Adhere to established company policies and procedures regarding plant safety.
Qualifications
- High School degree/GED or equivalent experience.
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Basic mathematical aptitude.
Working conditions and physical requirements
- Must be able to work standing for up to eight (8) hours per day.
- Saturday work may be required.
- Working knowledge of key safety disciplines, such as LOTO, PPE, and machine guarding.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and turn regularly.
- Ability to regularly use ladders and stairs.
- Employee Must Adhere to ALL Plant Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Proper Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) observance is always required.

Salary : $16 - $16
