The Business Banking Client Experience Specialist is a core member of each Business Banking team, responsible for enhancing client experience through dedicated servicing support. They are uniquely positioned to identify service-to sales opportunities as they uncover client needs through servicing interactions. The Business Banking Client Experience Specialist’s focus on high touch client service enables Relationship Managers to increase client-focused time by performing complex servicing issues and recommending solutions that will stop or decrease issues from occurring again.Primary duties include
- Providing resolution to escalated deposit, loan and treasury inquiries that cannot be solved by centralized support partners
- Identification of unmet client needs that can be shared with Relationship Managers within the team.
- Strengthen current relationships by partnering with other sales teammates, client team business partners, and back-office support centers to ensure client satisfaction.
Other responsibilities may include
- sales thought leadership, precall planning and joint execution of calls;
- Follow-up on treasury implementation and activation, fraud case resolution/escalation, and other tasks in support of RMs’ efforts to produce revenue.
- Has joint accountability for achievement of the team’s revenue goals.
- Must work independently to determine root cause, solution and future prevention of all escalated client issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent financial services experience
- General knowledge of business banking, to include loans and deposits, business banking products, banking sales process and cycle
- Ability to analyze data
- Effective time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results
- Effective communicator both written and verbal
- Interpersonal savvy and composure in dealing with clients and partners
- Effective problem solving capabilities
- 1+ years financial services experience or comparable experience
- Prior banking sales support experience
- Deposit, loan and credit knowledge
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Completion of a credit training course
- Proficiency in the following competencies (in addition to those listed as “Required”):
- Business Acumen
- Flexibility / Dealing with ambiguity.
- Experience as a phone-based financial solutions provider or inbound business sales
