JOB SUMMARYProcess, monitor, research, mitigate risks, and preserve the data integrity of the operational aspect and the credit documentation of the supported commercial lending portfolios by providing an exceptional level of quality, client service and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing quality assurance reviews and mitigating risks associated with commercial lending processes which may include flood compliance, general ledger reconcilement, regulatory tax payments, business resumption planning, and any other commercial lending operational activities that pose potential risks to CCO.
- Participates in industry related meetings and training to assist in evaluating and recommending Truist and CCO operational policies and guidelines.
- Identifies technological resources and organizational efficiencies to build a high quality cooperative and productive process.
- Responsible for recommendation of improvements and enhancements to include; mapping, workflow analyses, and process re-engineering.
- Ensure detailed information is completed for manuals, business requirements, applications, etc. for supporting functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

- College degree in business or equivalent education and related experience
- Minimum five years of experience in banking, with three years commercial lending operations and/or direct risk/regulatory experience.
- Negotiation and presentation skills.
- Thorough analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficient in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written; ability to successfully interact across multiple levels of lending personnel.
- Strong time management, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to support daily activities across several lines of business.
- Thorough understanding of process and production components of the loan life cycle. Aptitude to read and interpret complex loan documents and loan structures
- Sound decision making skills that demonstrate flexibility, resourcefulness and the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in commercial loan documentation, paralegal work, RE insurance background, and/or regulatory/compliance experience.
