Our fast-growing, dynamic retail company is looking for a new Credit & Collections Manager to join their team! Pay range: $90,000-$110,000

Work arrangements: Fully on-site in Skokie, IL

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Oversee the process of customer applications, review financial data, and establish credit limits to support company goals.
• Use your leadership skills to promote "Best Practices" and resolve escalated issues while collaborating across departments.
• Manage conflict resolution with customers and sales reps to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive team success through mentorship, performance feedback, and continuous development initiatives.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 6 years of experience in Credit & Collections, with a strong background in business-to-business collections.
• Proven leadership managing a team of 8 employees.
• Expertise in MS Outlook, Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables), and experience with credit analysis tools (JD Edwards, DnB).
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for excellent customer service.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities and deadlines.
