The Florence Roche Elementary School has an opening for the 2023-2024 school year.
The ABA Para-educator is responsible for supporting students with facilitating communication, increasing prosocial skills, academic skills, self-help skills and promoting independence. This position will work closely with the special education teacher and BCBA, collect student performance data, and implement instructional learning plans and behavior support plans.

Location Description
The Florence Roche School currently serves 500 students in a K through 4th grade configuration. A collaborative team approach, with teachers and specialists working together through grade-level and cross-graded teams, is used to ensure continuity and consistency of programs. Program adoption at Florence Roche is based on the philosophy that students learn best in an environment that is emotionally and physically safe and welcoming. Ongoing, classroom-based assessment of student progress is the foundation of the instructional program that strives to create an appropriate balance of support and challenge for each student. Job Requirements
- Salary in accordance with Unit D contract.
- At least 1 yearof relevant experience preferred
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
