Niles Cedar Lane/WAY Principal and Niles Adult Education Coordinator

Reports to: Superintendent (or designee)

Full-time position for 2024-2025 school year (45 week)

$85,000 - $89,000

Niles Community Schools is looking for a dynamic alternative education principal and adult education coordinator. Highly-effective communication skills and professionalism required for daily interaction with a diverse workforce, student population, building administration and community.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher, preferably in Educational Leadership.
  • A valid state certificate to practice as a secondary school principal.
  • At least five years of successful experience as a classroom teacher.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership ability in school administration and secondary education evaluation and supervision
  • Strong background in curriculum and instruction

  • Promote a positive learning environment
  • Possess excellent communication skills
