What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Principal position at TrulyHired?
There will be an Assistant Principal position available at Olentangy High School for the 2024-25 school year. The Assistant Principal will assist the building principal in providing instructional leadership for the building; manage, administer and facilitate the daily operations, activities and events of the school; improve student learning; oversee all athletic programming; and, act in the capacity of the principal during his/her absence.
Qualifications for the position include: Master's degree in Educational Leadership and school administration from an accredited college or university; three years of successful teaching experience; and, the appropriate State of Ohio certification/license. Alternative to the above qualifications as the superintendent and/or board of education may find appropriate.
Internal candidates (currently employed by the Olentangy Local School District) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking.
External candidates must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking. A letter of interest and current resume, photocopy of applicable administrative licensure, four professional and one personal reference must also be uploaded within the Attachments section of the application.
