The Director of Education has responsibility for the management of the academic programs of the school and for the cooperative supervision of teaching and support faculty. The Director of Education holds a key leadership position within the administrative and support structure of the school - and therefore must have a broad scope of skill sets relating to education, communication, and general management. This position provides direct support to faculty and contributes to the academic creativity, vision, and leadership - assuring the vitality of CCCBSD programs. The Director has responsibility for the delivery of all CCCBSD coordinated services to enrolled students.
This twelve month position requires a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, 3 years classroom (or support) experience, 1-2 years supervision/management experience, strong understanding of communication systems. Coursework in education, special education, communication disorders, or early-childhood required. Previous successful classroom experience in an academic setting.
