Director of Technology
The Easton Area School District is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, relationship-oriented individual with integrity and communication skills to serve as the Director of Technology. This Act 93 position will be available on or about July 1, 2023. Salary will be determined based upon education and experience. The Director of Technology is responsible to manage and monitor district technology associated with curriculum and instruction. This position will also monitor and manage district technology services, including but not limited to the oversight and direction regarding: infrastructure, security, E-rate, web-site administration, phone system (CISCO) and the school messenger system. The position is also responsible to review and make recommendation to School Board Policies related to the area listed previously.
Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's of Science degree in education and a Master's of Science Degree in Instructional Technology or technology related field. The selected candidate must have five (5) years of experience in Instructional technology or related technology field. Must be able to organize and prioritize competing demands, projects and tasks as well as demonstrate effective communication strategies to interact with a variety of audiences. The Board may find appropriate and acceptable alternatives to the listed qualifications.
The selected candidates will complete a series of interviews and assessments. Salary will commensurate with experience and alignment with the Act 93 Compensation Plan.
