St. Anthony School, a small Catholic school in Everett, seeks a full-time reading interventionist for the 2023-2024 school year. We are willing to consider applicants who prefer part-time. The interventionist will run small group targeted instruction for students with reading gaps under the daily direction of the building principal. The day-to-day supervision of these positions will fall under the building principal and assistant principal The position is for in-person instruction Monday through Friday. This is a benefited position for a full-time applicant for up to 6 hours a day/5 days per week that ends 6/1/2024 . This position is funded through EANS grant funds. Preference is given to individuals with prior early literacy, or education experience $20 for a non-licensed para educator with an educational experience Duties include: •Collaborate with school leadership and classroom teachers. •Plan cooperatively with professional staff •Assess students as necessary •Prepare Intervention instructional lessons based on data •Implement individual academic goal setting, mentoring, and progress monitoring for students needing math and reading interventions. •Provide inclusive classroom support throughout the building •Instruct small groups of students •Monitor computer-based intervention systems within the classroom and provide one-on-one, small group, and whole-group direct instruction. •Communicate with individual students' support stakeholders, as needed •Use an early warning system to determine individual student needs. •Connect with teachers and families to ensure the student receives appropriate interventions. •Performs other related duties as assigned. •Observe high ethical and professional standards in the discharge of all professional responsibilities
