The Pocono Mountain School District wishes to inform you of the following posted vacancy for the 2023-2024 school year:
Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate will provide evidence of a strong academic record, excellent educational references and related experience, be able to demonstrate knowledge of current educational research, and successfully complete a series of interviews along with meeting all local requirements.
Applications from qualified individuals interested in the above position must submit electronically to Courtney Burrus, Executive Director of Human Resouces via the applicant tracking system. A cover letter expressing interest in this position along with a resume should be submitted with the application document. Please use the electronic upload sections available.
Only complete application packets will be considered. A complete packet for external applicants includes:
•PA Standard Teaching Application;
•Letter of Interest;
•Resume;
•Three current Letters of Recommendation (within one year);
•Copy of Teaching Certificate;
•Copy of college/university transcripts.
Internal candidates need only submit a current resume and letter of interest electronically to Courtney Burrus, Executive Director of Human Resources, via the applicant system to be considered complete.
The successful candidate will be required to provide the following documents: Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check, Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, and the Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
