Trust Consulting Services, Inc. is a certified 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB firm specializing in Acquisition Management, Program Management, Financial Management, Information Technology and Facility Management in support of state, local and federal agencies. We have an immediate opening for a qualified Technical Writer who will support the Bureau of Fiscal Service, Division of Procurement Services (DPS), on behalf of the United States (US) Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board.

Investigation Reports, Incident Investigation Factual Updates, Incident Investigation Briefs, Chemical
Hazard Studies, Safety Studies, and other CSB written products.
Term: Base and four (4) Option Periods
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Hours: Monday – Friday. Alternate Work Schedule is allowed

The duties of the Technical Writer include but not limited to:
- Perform technical writing and technical editing services to provide input on or to
Investigation Reports, Incident Investigation Factual Updates, Incident Investigation Briefs, Chemical
Hazard Studies, Safety Studies, and other CSB written products.
- Provide technical writing training services to CSB staff.
- Must have 5 years of experience related to technical writing.
- Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study (English, technical writing, journalism, etc.).
- Must have demonstrated experience writing high-quality technical documents for the scientific and engineering community, preferably that has included integration of statutes, regulations, technical standards, or best practice documents that are applied to the facts of a situation, and that preferably included some type of formal causal analysis.
- Must have five technical writing samples (no more than 10 pages each, hyperlinks to articles are also acceptable), targeted to the scientific and engineering community, preferably that include integration of statutes, regulations, technical standards or best practice documents that are applied to the facts of a situation, and that preferably include some type of formal causal analysis, shall be included in the response to this performance work statement. Experience doing any type of comparative analysis should also be documented.
