About the role:
TMB is looking for a Compensation Analyst to join our HR Team. Reporting to the VP, Benefits & Compensation, the candidate will support all activities associated with our compensation and benefits programs for all employees. This position is a key resource to ensuring our programs are competitive, effective, and conform to our strategy.
About you:
You are self-driven and seeks opportunities to add value and make an impact on the company.
Your day to day:
- Conduct market pay and internal compensation analysis for use in job evaluations, salary recommendations for new hires and promotions, and ad hoc requests to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity
- Analyze job content to determine FLSA status to make sure legal compliance in the classification of jobs as exempt of non-exempt
- Maintains salary structures, to include the computation of geographic wage differentials
- Participates in annual compensation planning process for merit increases and bonus payments
- Supports the administration of the sales commission program
- Reviews compensation data to ensure the company's policies are competitive
- Conducts annual and ad-hoc surveys, evaluate data integrity, produce reports and presents findings
- Assist VP, Benefits & Compensation in the management of employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, pension, 401(k), etc.
- Provide data and support vendor for the annual non-discrimination testing process
- Ensures compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA and other applicable regulations impacting Health and Wellness Plans
You have:
- Bachelor's degree or related experience
- 2 years related work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in HRIS systems. ADP WFN experience a plus
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations related to employee compensation and benefits
