PHP Developer
Location: Exton, PA 19341
Duration: 6 months contract to hire (no visa sponsorship)
Job Description
Client is looking for LAMP Developer with a passion for programming. The candidate must have at least 6 years of experience developing on a PHP-based MVC Framework and demonstrate an excellent understanding of object-oriented programming. A degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Code in PHP using Laravel framework and MySQL
- Create production quality scalable code using best practices
- Work closely with internal designers, developers, and QA to ensure code quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years experience as a PHP software developer
- Strong working knowledge of PHP and MySQL (LAMP stack)
- Experience with Linux based operating systems a must
- Be able to create and modify existing HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, json
- Experience using API's to perform actions on 3rd party services
- Experience building API’s
- Experience using Git version control software
- Working Knowledge of PSR Standards
- Experience using modern PHP tools (composer, phing, CI Tools, etc)
- Experience with software testing suites (unit testing, functional testing)
